Prof Will Saunders MBE

Head of Creative, CoSTAR National Lab / StoryFutures

Professor Will Saunders has over 30 years experience working across the UK’s Screen and Performance sectors as a writer, producer and executive producer. His most recent focus has been working with organizations and companies (Discovery Network, Canada Media Fund, Taiwan’s Creative Content Agency, BBC World Service, National Gallery) that want to understand the creative and commercial potential of emerging technologies.

As an independent consultant in 2018, he co-authored the DCMS “Culture Is Digital” report. As Creative Director, Digital, BBC Studios he ran Digital Development and Production for the UK’s leading media company. As a programme-maker he has won awards working with: Graham Norton, Flight of The Conchords, Sarah Millican, Tim Minchin and Lee Mack. In 2024 he was awarded an MBE for services to the Creative Industries.

Jamie Harrison

Head of One Samsung Programme – Samsung Electronics UK

Jamie is responsible for securing strategic long term partnerships with businesses looking to utilise the full depth of the Samsung portfolio, both consumer technologies and corporate. Jamie has a particular passion and connection for the creative industries working with some of the largest entertainment and sporting brands in the UK and partnering Samsung across stadiums, arenas and content production facilities.

Prior to Samsung, Jamie led Digital Catapult’s technology consultancy and innovation team, with responsibility for the largest SME/B technology accelerator in the UK covering Creative XR, Machine Intelligence, Field Labs (Blockchain/DLT), 5G Labs and much more. His passion for business started in his early career working for Camdens Business Improvement District and NACUE an organisation focused on University Enterprise Creation.
